Adelaide has made just one change for its match-of-the-round clash with Sydney at AAMI Stadium on Saturday night.

Utility Graham Johncock has recovered from the broken leg he sustained against Melbourne back in round seven and returns for the second-versus-third match-up.

Half-back flanker Jason Torney will be the only player missing from the side that held off the fast-finishing Kangaroos to register 13-point win last week after being ruled out with back soreness.

Goalsneak Hayden Skipworth has thrown off a hamstring strain that sidelined him for three weeks but has been named as an emergency along with Chris Knights and Scott Stevens.

The Swans have made two changes for the match with Nic Fosdike and Luke Vogels returning to the line-up.

Fosdike was a late withdrawal from the side that overcame the Eagles by 21 points last week, but has recovered from a quad strain, while Vogels earns a recall after kicking five goals for the reserves last week.

Jarrad McVeigh and Nick Malceski have been sent back to the reserves side to get some much-needed game time, according to coach Paul Roos.
