Crows co-captain Rory Sloane has gone into bat for former teammate Patrick Dangerfield.
The star Cat has come under fire for supposedly exaggerating his injuries, an accusation Sloane outright disregarded.
“In my time, Danger is one of the hardest players I’ve seen and played with,” Sloane told Triple M’s The Rush Hour.
“It’s no wonder the bloke is going to pull up sore every now and again.
“For someone to take a shot at him, I don’t like it because he’s a great of the game and puts his body on the line better than anyone.”

Adelaide could see several players return from injury this weekend, giving the selectors a tough task ahead of Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
“It’s certainly going to cause a headache for selectors,” Sloane said.
“(Wayne) Milera is looking sharp, I reckon he’ll be up for selection.
“(A) very very good game from Josh (Jenkins), he’ll be putting his hand up.
“It could be a long night for them (the selectors), there might be a couple of guys who come in.”
WALKER FOCUSSED: Crows co-captain ready for West Coast
Matt Crouch, Paul Seedsman and Richard Douglas could also be recalled to the side for the clash with West Coast.
Following up on comments earlier in the week regarding tagging, Sloane said it was more important that the “whole midfield group is accountable”.
“You don’t want to be known as a midfield group that just goes forward,” he said.
“As a footy club, we’re encouraging our midfielders to push just as hard both ways.”
