Shirley returns to SANFL
Robert Shirley returns from three weeks on the sidelines by playing for the Panthers reserves.
His regular club – the Eagles – have a bye this week so Shirley will have his first run in a month from 8.45am at Noarlunga against Norwood.
Will Young, returning from a ankle injury, will play in the same game for the Redlegs.
In the league match later in the day, Shaun McKernan has been named to lead the ruck for the Panthers and Myke Cook has been named at half-forward. Aaron Kite has been named on an extended interchange bench for Norwood.
North Adelaide has added two more Crows to its league line-up. Rory Sloane returns after two impressive outings in the reserves and Greg Gallman has also won promotion.
They join Nick Gill, Tony Armstrong and Phil Davis in the side to play Sturt at Prospect. Rookie Brodie Martin has been named on a wing for the Double Blues but Brent Reilly is set to return to the Crows.
Glenelg named James Sellar at full forward for its clash with West Adelaide. Brian Donnelly will be at full forward for the Tigers’ reserves.
