LAST WEEK’S NEWS
Winner winner chicken dinner!
Rory Laird (DEF, $442,000) backed up his 109 from two games ago with a season high 110 this week. He has been in sensational form scoring 99+ in four of his last five games this year. Speaking of form, Patrick Dangerfield (MID, $592,000) kept his great run going with 108 while Josh Jenkins (FWD, $351,000) kicked a handful of goals for his 106.
Brodie Smith (DEF, $353,000) finally returned for 72 and after this bye he is now ready to be traded into your team after his poor run of luck has seen him drop $112,000 in price.
Mitch Grigg (FWD/MID, $384,000) scored 84 but could have been much more. He missed three goals from his 19 touches and Eddie Betts (FWD, $438,000) had a day to forget against his old team scoring just 39. He walked away with the important four points though and I’m guessing Eddie would be happier with that, but he will have difficulty explaining it to his loyal Fantasy coaches though.
ON THE RADAR
Rory Sloane (MID, $523,000) returned on the weekend after spending four weeks on the sidelines and now is the time to bring him back in. Sloane started the year with scores of 112, 117 and 130 and posted 82 on the weekend. He’s cheap and prime for the picking.
On the other hand, and I hate to say it, but Cam Ellis-Yolmen’s (MID, $493,000) time is almost up. He scored 46 on the weekend and sat out the last part of the game in a dirty red vest. He’s made us some great money since the start of the year and now must be upgraded over the bye rounds.
