Lynch was drafted by St Kilda with pick No. 13 in the 2008 Draft, with the key forward playing six games for the Saints before being traded to Adelaide in 2012. In 2013, he topped Adelaide’s goalkicking with 33 majors, and, in 2016, he kicked a career-high 42 goals. That same year, he received his first All Australian nomination and a top three finish at Adelaide’s Club Champion. In 2018, he continued to win plenty of the ball as a playmaker up front, signing a three-year contract extension. Adelaide’s link-up man reached a decade in the AFL, fighting through an injury-interrupted campaign to play 16 games in 2019 and another 13 in 2020. Married long-term partner Courtney in December 2018, and the couple have three kids.
