Adelaide midfielder Paul Seedsman says the side is excited to be playing on a Friday night with the Crows securing a coveted prime-time match.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Seedsman said it was a privilege for the Club to be given a Friday night slot.

“It’ll be great,” Seedsman said.

“I remember when we went up to Cairns the other week to play the Saints and I couldn’t believe how many blokes hadn’t played a night game.

“Playing on a Friday night will be a great experience, especially for all these younger boys coming through.

“Hopefully in the next few years as a Club we get a few more... of those Friday and Saturday night games.”

Seedsman, who has averaged 25.5 disposals across 15 games this season, was hopeful forward Taylor Walker would overcome a neck injury and be fit for the big clash.

“As a Club and a teammate we hope the big Texan is out there,” Seedsman said.

“He was moving around at training pretty well.

“(With) another few days, hopefully the neck loosens up and he’s able to get out there this weekend against the Bombers.

“He’s one of those personalities that lifts everyone up and you have a good time when he’s out there.

“We are definitely keen with the form that he’s been in to have him out there and kicking some goals again this weekend.”

Seedsman said he had put in plenty of work on and off the field this season to become one of the team’s most consistent performers.

“I’ve got a really good routine going for me,” Seedsman said.

“I’ve been doing a lot of work on my mindset and belief and everything like that and it’s paying dividends on game day.”

Adelaide takes on Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Friday at 7.20pm ACST (7.50pm AEST).

The game will be televised live nationwide on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.
