Rory Atkins and Rory Laird each received two votes in Adelaide’s five-point loss to Port Adelaide.
Atkins was his team’s leading possession winner with 29 and also gained more metres (608) than any other player on the ground. The wingman generated five inside 50ms and kicked a goal.
Laird gathered 27 disposals, including 12 in a dominant first-quarter display. The All Australian defender sits equal-seventh on the Shadforth Financial Group AFLCA Champion Player of the Year leaderboard.

Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe remains on top of the overall leaderboard with 48 votes. In-form Western Bulldogs premiership player Jack Macrae has drawn level with Melbourne big man Max Gawn in second spot (40 votes).
