Adelaide will travel to Melbourne on Wednesday evening via a chartered flight ahead of Round 16.
The AFL made the decision earlier on Wednesday to relocate both South Australian teams to Victoria to ensure the competition carries on.
Adelaide Chief Executive said the trip across the border is a precautionary move.
"I would like to assure you that we may still play our home against Brisbane at Adelaide Oval as planned," Silvers said.
"As always, community health and wellbeing remains at the forefront of our thoughts and decision making.
"During the pandemic, South Australia has shown it can safely stage AFL games and this is a credit to the government and health authorities, as well as Adelaide Oval management.
"We will always fight hard for what is in the best interests of our Members and fans."
