The Adelaide Football Club is proud to celebrate this week’s AFL Women’s Round.

Crows Chief Executive Officer Steven Trigg said:  “AFL Women’s Round gives us an opportunity to recognise the contribution of women at all levels across our Club.”

Adelaide Football Club's Sports Dietician Olivia Warnes was one of five women profiled by the AFL for www.afl.com.au explaining her role at the Crows and what it takes to be a female leader in the football industry. To view Olivia's video as well as the other leaders profiled, please click here.

To coincide with Women’s Round, the Adelaide Football Club will be celebrating the importance women play in our game, both inside and outside the Club.

On Tuesday, a function was held to thank the women involved in the Crows administration for their contribution to the Club, as well as providing an opportunity for the Club to engage with several key women - from both sponsors and across the wider Adelaide business community.  CMI Toyota (West Terrace) hosted the private event with special guests including the Hon. Kate Ellis (number one female ticket holder), Kate Gould and AFC Ambassador Katrina Webb all in attendance.

The Club will also be announcing a new initiative this week involving the Club and women in leadership roles.
