Adelaide forward Wayne Milera Jnr and his partner Nina have welcomed their newest addition, a healthy baby boy.
Carter Andrew Wayne Milera was born on March 30 at 8.46pm.
The 23-year-old thanked Crows fans for their outpouring of support after he suffered a season-ending knee injury in a practice match against Port Adelaide.
The injury was a cruel blow for the defender-turned-midfielder who only played two games last year due to a foot injury.
But Milera said the family’s baby joy was a brighter note and he couldn’t wait to be a dad.
“It’s going to be pretty flat out but exciting," he said.
Last week, defender Luke Brown and his wife Ingrid also announced the birth of their first child.
“This little angel came into this world and stole our hearts,” he wrote.
“The greatest day of our lives!”
Crows skipper Rory Sloane and forward Taylor Walker also welcomed baby boys earlier this year.
