Ian Callinan has been rushed straight back into Central District’s league side after a three-month lay-off with an arm injury.

Callinan, who won the Jack Oatey Medal as best afield in the SANFL grand final the last time he played for Central District, has been named to start in the midfield for the ladder leader in the clash with Port Adelaide at Elizabeth on Saturday.

The Crows recruited Callinan, 28, as a mature age rookie and he played in the pre-season games before tearing a bicep in a NAB Challenge game in early March. Also playing their first game for Central of 2011 will be Ricky Henderson, who has been named on a wing.

Port may have Ivan Maric (named as a Crows emergency).

Sturt should have three Crows in action on Sunday at home against the Eagles - Brodie Martin, Richard Tambling and Aidan Riley, who was named as an emergency for the Crows.

West Adelaide has Chris Schmidt and Brad Moran in its line-up to take on North Adelaide at Prospect oval on Sunday. Tony Armstrong will be at half back for the Roosters.

Glenelg has named Jarryd Lyons as a rover for Monday’s holiday clash with Norwood.

South Adelaide has the bye but Daniel Talia will play for the Eagles reserves for match practice.

Also playing reserves this week are Sam Shaw (Glenelg), Lachlan Roach (North), Tim Milera (Port), Sam Martyn and Jake von Bertouch (Eagles).
