The Adelaide Football Club has informed Riley Knight, Patrick Wilson and Ayce Taylor their contracts would not be renewed for Season 2021.
Knight played 55 games, including the 2017 Grand Final, for the Crows after being selected with pick No.46 in the 2013 AFL Draft.
Wilson departs the Club after three years during which he played two AFL games, while Taylor did not play a senior game after being signed in this year’s pre-season supplemental selection period.
Crows General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid thanked the trio for their efforts and dedication.
“This is a really tough time of year and we are confronted with many difficult decisions in regards to the direction we take our playing list,” Reid said.
“Over seven seasons at the club, Riley has played some really good football, been a dedicated member of our team and contributed positively.
“Patrick has won our SANFL best and fairest in each of the last two seasons and been an important support to the development of our younger players.
“This year has been tough for Ayce as he arrived just prior to the commencement of the season and has been denied the opportunity to play regularly, given that we have not been able to compete in the State League competition this year.
“We wish them all the very best for the future, both on and off the field, and they will always be part of the Crows family.”
