Adelaide has made four changes for Sunday’s clash with Carlton at Metricon Stadium.
Veteran Taylor Walker has been ruled out with an ankle injury, opening the door for forward/ruck Billy Frampton to return to the senior lineup for the first time since Round Six.
The former Power big man has kicked four goals in four games this season and will line up alongside Darcy Fogarty and Elliott Himmelberg as targets in a youthful Crows forward line.
Bryce Gibbs, Tom Lynch and Jordon Butts have also been included to face the Blues as flagged by coach Matthew Nicks in his Friday press conference.
Sunday’s game will be Gibbs’ 268th and final AFL game after the 14-year veteran announced his retirement on Thursday.
Senior Crows Daniel Talia (managed) and David Mackay (suspension) won’t travel to Queensland, while young forward Lachlan Murphy has been omitted.
Round 17’s clash will get underway at 1.05pm AEST / 12.35pm ACST. It will be broadcast live nationwide on Fox Footy, as well as on Channel 7 Adelaide from 12.30pm ACST immediately after The Optus Crows Show.
Adelaide's Round 17 team is...
IN: Gibbs, Frampton, Lynch, Butts
OUT: Walker (ankle), Mackay (suspension), Talia (managed), Murphy
