Less than two weeks remain until Adelaide's 2015 Australia Post AFL Community Camp in Port Lincoln.
The camp coincides with the Club's NAB Challenge clash with the Kangaroos at Centenary Oval at 4:10pm on Sunday, March 1.
The players and coaches will remain on the Eyre Peninsula for the next two days (March 2-3) to mingle with fans of all ages in the community.
During the two-day camp, the Crows will visit more than 30 schools, hospitals and aged care homes from Elliston and Port Neill.
Local kids will be treated to a free AFL Auskick Coaching Clinic with the players, and there will also be a chance to watch the team train.
General Manager of Football Administration Phil Harper said the players were looking forward to the trip, none more so than Port Lincoln product Eddie Betts.
“The Community Camp is a fantastic concept because it allows us to spend time with our members and supporters, our 19th Man, in regional areas who provide close to 20 per cent of our total membership base,” Harper said.
"Ten players in our current playing squad grew up in regional Australia including of course Eddie Betts, who was born in Port Lincoln.
“Those players, especially, know how important it is for AFL players to spend time in the community.
“One of the Club’s all-time favourite players, Graham Johncock, also hails from Port Lincoln.
“Since retiring, Graham has returned home to work and play football, and I know his former Crows teammates will be looking forward to seeing him again.
“The Camp is also a great opportunity for us to get away as a group and break the routine of a long summer of pre-season training in Adelaide.”
Fans are invited to attend an official team dinner at the Port Lincoln Hotel on Monday, March 2, from 6.30pm.
All funds raised from the official dinner will go to the Port Lincoln Football League development programs.
This is the 12th year that the Australia Post AFL Community Camp initiative has reached far and wide across Australia.
The Crows have previously been to Murray Bridge, Fleurieu Peninsula, Port Lincoln in 2007, Barossa Valley, Yorke Peninsula, Port Augusta, Mt Gambier, Riverland and Naracoorte.
