Scott Thompson's standout 2011 season has continued, winning the Max Basheer Medal at Wednesday night's Fiveaa Footy Awards.

Thompson was a runaway winner, taking home the Max Basheer Medal and $10,000, finishing ahead of Graham Johncock in second place.

The medal is voted on by Fiveaa commentators after each Crows and Port game on a 3-2-1 basis.

Adelaide had two other winners on the night, with Daniel Talia winning the 'Rising Star' award, while Patrick Dangerfield took out the 'Goal of the Year' for his running effort in round three against Fremantle.
