Experienced Crows Graham Johncock and Ian Callinan may be available for Sunday’s Balfours Showdown at AAMI Stadium.
And Jared Petrenko, subbed off early in Saturday’s win over GWS Giants after being knocked out in the first few seconds of the game, also expects to be cleared to train and play.
Callinan was a late withdrawal from the Giants clash because of a sore calf.
Johncock, who has played in more Showdowns than any current Crow (20), rested a corked thigh.
Adelaide needs to replace Bernie Vince, who broke his left hand early in the last quarter. He will be sidelined for two-four weeks.
Chris Knights (quad) did not play in the SANFL on the weekend but should be back on track this week. Sam Kerridge was ill on Saturday and could not play for Sturt.
Midfielder Richard Douglas (hamstring) has started running but is still 2-3 weeks away from playing.
Adelaide has a light training session on Max Basheer Reserve on Tuesday from about 10am. The team to play Port on Sunday will train on Saturday at AAMI Stadium from about 10.30am.
