Adelaide has today announced the re-signing of nine players, including captain Mark Ricciuto, Simon Goodwin and Andrew McLeod.

Brett Burton, Graham Johncock, Nathan Bassett, Martin Mattner, Chris Knights, Ivan Maric and Jason Porplyzia have also recently agreed to terms to continue their playing career with the Adelaide Football Club.

General Manager Football Operations John Reid said: “The club is particularly pleased to secure these out of contract players. While a number of them have been essentially completed some time ago, we have only been able to finalize these contracts upon confirmation of the TPP for seasons 2007 and 2008.”

Having certainty over the TPP only in recent days, the Club has a small group of players still out of contract at the completion of the 2006 season, and will continue negotiations with these players.
