Richard Tambling, traded from Richmond last October, and 19-year-old Brodie Smith, Adelaide’s first pick at last year’s national draft, have been selected to make their Crows debut.
They will become the 176th and 177th footballers to play for the Crows since the Club entered the AFL in 1991.
Tambling, 24, played 108 AFL games for the Tigers since 2005, after being drafted from Darwin.
Smith, drafted from SANFL club Woodville-West Torrens, was impressive throughout the pre-season games across half back or on a wing.
In other team news, Andy Otten will play his first game for premiership points since having a knee reconstruction at the end of 2009 and forward/ruckman Shaun McKernan will line up for his second AFL game.
Ricky Henderson, who did not play the last NAB Challenge game after being concussed on March 4, regained his spot in the 22.
Henderson and McKernan are two of five Crows - with Rory Sloane, Phil Davis and Smith - who have played 15 AFL games or less.
The emergencies are Matt Jaensch, Brad Moran and Brad Symes.
Saturday night’s game starts at 7.10pm.
