Vince continues comeback with Eagles
Bernie Vince returns to the Eagles league side this weekend to continue his comeback from an ankle injury.
After playing for South Adelaide’s reserves last week, Vince has been named on a wing for the Eagles in their clash against West Adelaide at Richmond on Saturday.
Jarrhan Jacky is starting in a forward pocket and former Crows ruckman Rhett Biglands also returns to league football for the first time in six years with the Eagles. For the Bloods Chris Schmidt has been named in the midfield.
Central District take on North Adelaide at Elizabeth on Saturday with 2009 draftee Jack Gunston starting on the interchange for the Bulldogs. Rookie Matthew Wright has been named in the forward pocket for the Roosters.
Glenelg host Sturt at Gliderol Stadium on Sunday with Sam Shaw playing his second league game for the Tigers in a back pocket, while James Sellar has been named on the interchange.
For the Double Blues Matthew Jaensch will start on a half forward flank while rookie Aidan Riley has been named on an extended interchange.
Port Adelaide and Norwood clash at Alberton Oval on Saturday with no Crows listed players in action.
In the SANFL reserves rookie Luke Thompson lines up for the Eagles and Irishman Brian Donnelly will play in defence for Central District.
