Close finish to Toyota tipping comp
Round 22 signalled the end of the home and away season and also the finish to the Toyota Crows Footy Tipping competition.
In a nail biting climax, David Neumann has taken out the major prize with a score of five in the final round and a grand total of 123 points.
He narrowly edged out Glenda Hughes who was also on 123 points, but had a greater overall points margin.
It has been a successful year for David, he did the double and also took out his work tipping competition.
“I entered the same tips in the work one and managed to win it with 123 as well, so it’s been a good week”, David said.
David has won a framed Crows guernsey signed by the entire 2010 playing squad and two tickets to the Crows Club Champion Awards night at the Adelaide Convention Centre this Friday, September 3.
“I can’t wait to put up the guernsey somewhere in the house, it might look great in one of the hallways!”
Nancy Pinneri was the final weekly winner with a score of eight and an adjusted margin of 12, and she receives a signed football and a Toyota umbrella.
The overall leader in Australia was ‘joburns’ who finished on an impressive 134, an average of just over six tips per round, and they win $20,000 for their efforts.
Congratulations to all weekly winners in 2010 and we look forward to all Crows supporters being a part of the website tipping competition again next year.
