The Adelaide selectors have made just two changes with Chris Knights and Jason Porplyzia (both omitted) making way for Nathan Bassett and Matthew Bode for Saturday's clash with Richmond at Telstra Dome.

Bassett and Bode were both late withdrawals last week.

Bode will start on the bench with Kris Massie, Matthew Clarke and Nathan van Berlo while Knights, Porplyzia and Hayden Skipworth have been named as emergencies.

Richmond has made four changes to its side.

Andrew Kellaway, Danny Meyer, Trent Knobel and Adam Pattison all come into the team – Meyer and Knobel for the first time this season.

The Tigers have omitted four - Greg Stafford, Cleve Hughes, Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls and Luke McGuane - following the club's 118-point loss to Sydney.

Knobel and Pattison will start on the bench with Dean Polo and Daniel Jackson while Stafford, Oakley-Nicholls and Matthew White have been named as emergencies.

Richmond football manager Paul Armstrong said the selections changes were based on positional like-for-like players.
