Hayden Skipworth has won the Jack Oatey Medal for his dominant performance in the SANFL Grand Final.Skipworth, who has trained and played on AAMI Stadium on countless occasions, used his experience to find plenty of the ball. He gathered 31 possessions and was adjudged best afield, as the Eagles cruised to their first premiership victory since 1993.Skipworth is only the second Woodville-West Torrens player to have been awarded the Jack Oatey Medal, adding to the honour.“This medal means plenty,” Skipworth said. “All these guys are my mates – it is good to be part of winning a flag, part of history with these guys.“I did all my juniors here and came up through the ranks so it is great to win a league medal.
