Rover Hayden Skipworth kept his name in front of the Crows’ selectors with a 28-possession effort with the Eagles in the SANFL on the weekend.

Skipworth was again high among the Eagles’ best in their three-point win over South Adelaide, impressing with his work at the stoppages.

Two Crows team-mates, Jason Torney and Bernie Vince, spent time on each other in this match. Torney, on the road back after bad quad tear, played a solid game for South across half-back while Vince was a bit quieter than in some of his recent games for the Eagles and had 14 possessions.

Luke Jericho kicked one goal from his one kick before getting injured early in West’s game against North. Jason Porplyzia also was troubled by a knee injury but made a strong start to the match before going off.

Rookie Adrian Bonaddio was named best for West Adelaide’s reserves, taking 21 marks, while Sam Eliott (South) and Jonathon Griffin (Central) also made the best.

John Hinge was solid for Glenelg in its big Monday public holiday win over Norwood. For the Redlegs, John Meesen was serviceable in ruck. Rookie Brad Sugars kicked four goals in reserves.
