The Adelaide Crows primed themselves for the Hawks this weekend with a solid main session on AAMI Stadium.

Conditions were near perfect with the sunshine warming up what would have been a fresh winter’s day.

A sore Brett Burton was rested and completed an indoor session but is likely to be available for Saturdays clash. Trent Hentschel, Jason Porplyzia and Nathan Bassett had limited sessions, however all are expected to be declared fit later in the week. Young guns Bernie Vince and Chris Knights remained indoors, restricted to work in the pool.

The school holiday crowd enjoyed seeing a number of familiar faces return to the main group. Ben Hart, Nathan Bock, Scott Welsh, Ian Perrie and Nathan Van Berlo took part in training to varying degrees.

Crows big man Ben Hudson continued to take steps towards a return to football, working for an extended period with Crows ruck coach Mick Redden.
