The Adelaide Football Club understands the AFL’s decision to not accept any trade involving Kurt Tippett within the agreement under investigation.

At the request of the Club, the AFL today began the process of examining all player records from the Adelaide Football Club that may be relevant to the investigation into the contracting of Tippett.

No time line has been given for the investigation.

List manager David Noble said: “Whilst it would have been preferable for our Club to receive compensation for a talented player like Kurt, we understand the AFL’s position.”
