Ian Perrie's six-goal haul in the SANFL last week has earned him a recall to the Crows forward line, while their backline has been boosted by the return of Nathan Bassett for Sunday's showdown with Port Adelaide.

'The Sarge' has not played since requiring knee surgery after a collision that occurred in Adelaide's round four clash with Fremantle and Bassett returns after missing one week with a hip pointer injury.

Both go straight into the starting 18 while fellow inclusions Richard Douglas, Chris Knights and Jason Torney have been named on a seven-man bench.

Douglas - the 16th pick overall in last year's NAB AFL National Draft - will make his AFL debut if he remains on the bench after the squad is trimmed back to 22 players on Friday night.

Out of the side that fell to the Bulldogs by seven points last Saturday are Hayden Skipworth who picked up a hamstring strain and Kris Massie who injured his shin.

Damon White is back in for the Power after being a late withdrawal from the side that fell to Collingwood by two points last week.

The key forward is one of four inclusions and has been named at centre half-forward, while Alipate Carlile, Peter Walsh and Aaron Shattock are on the extended bench.

Jacob Surjan is the only player to drop out of last week's side with the onballer requiring surgery to repair a shoulder injury.
