Sloane to make league debut
Rory Sloane will make his SANFL debut for North Adelaide in Sunday’s clash with the Eagles.
Sloane, who has been out for six weeks after straining his knee in a pre-season trial with the Roosters, has been named as a rover. Tony Armstrong and Phil Davis will also play league for North.
Chris Knights returns from a fractured eye socket to play for the Eagles and will be in the midfield mix with Robert Shirley, while Crows emergency Jarrhan Jacky is also expected to play.
Aaron Kite has been named as a possible inclusion for Norwood, which takes on unbeaten top side Central District at The Parade on Saturday. Will Young has been named in the back pocket while Brad Symes will feature for Central.
At Noarlunga, Shaun McKernan will line up for the Panthers and James Sellar has been named at full forward for Glenelg.
Ruckman Ivan Maric has been named at centre half forward for the Port Adelaide Magpies, which meets Sturt at Alberton on Sunday. Rookie Brodie Martin has been selected on a wing for Sturt.
West Adelaide has the bye.
