Adelaide has made one change to its side to take on Hawthorn at AAMI Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Youngster Jason Porplyzia has been recalled after a hip injury forced him out of the team as a late omission last week.

Porplyzia comes in to replace the omitted Hayden Skipworth and will start on the bench alongside Matthew Bode, Jason Torney and Ivan Maric.

Skipworth has been named as an emergency along with Matthew Clarke and Nathan Bock in what will be defender Graham Johncock's 100th AFL match for Adelaide.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have made two inclusions to their side to replace the injured Joel Smith and Tim Clarke.

Smith will miss after injuring his hamstring last week against the Eagles while Clarke damaged a tendon in his foot at training and will be out for at least a fortnight.

Coming in to replace the duo are young defender Zac Dawson and Matt Ball – Dawson returning to the senior side for the first time since round eight and Ball for the first time this year.

Starting on the bench for the Hawks are Lance Franklin, Clinton Young, Ball and Dawson, while Nick Ries, Ben Kane and Luke Brennan have been named as emergencies.
