X-rays have confirmed Adelaide defender Ben Hart has a broken left foream.

His arm will be in plaster for about five to six weeks and he should be ready to resume playing soon after the plaster is removed.

And promising draftee Richard Douglas will miss the next four to six week after tearing a medial ligament in his knee in the SANFL on Saturday.

Douglas, the Crows' first pick at the 2005 national draft, had been in outstanding form in his first season of senior football.

There was some good news for Adelaide on the weekend. Scott Welsh, leading goalkicker in 2005, made a successful return for West Adelaide in the SANFL and kicked three goals. Jason Torney also played his first game for 2006, with South Adelaide, after recovering from a bad quad tear.
