Young, who had a shoulder reconstruction at the end of last season, had a finger injury late in the pre-season and played reserves last week after missing the opening round.
For Glenelg, 2010 draftee Jarryd Lyons has been named on an extended bench.

Jack Gunston, who is an emergency for the Crows, has been named to play for Central District against South at Elizabeth on Saturday afternoon.
Another emergency, Matt Wright, is named in North’s team for Sunday’s clash with Port at Prospect Oval but may be called up by the Crows.
Tony Armstrong has been named at half back for the Roosters after recovering from an ankle injury and rookie Tim Milera will be on show for Port.
West Adelaide takes on Canberra club Ainslie in the Foxtel Cup as the curtainraiser to tomorrow’s Balfours Showdown and has named Chris Schmidt.
In the reserves, Jake von Bertouch is lining up for the Eagles and Lachlan Roach for North Adelaide.
