Adelaide’s Round 10 Dream Team performance was all about blond-haired winger, Rory Sloane.
Sloane amassed 150 points, the best Dream Team performance of his career; but something tells us it won’t last long as his highest score ...
Top five DT point scorers
Rory Sloane 150
Patrick Dangerfield 110
Matt Wright 105
Nathan van Berlo 103
Taylor Walker 82
Sloane’s day out
33 disposals, five marks, three goals and seven tackles equalled 150 DT points. The courageous midfielder has taken a big step up in season 2012, rising by $13,300 in value, with an average of 100.60pts per game.
Dangers fourth ton
Dangerfield was again damaging in the midfield. He racked up 32 disposals along with six marks and a goal against Fremantle to post his fourth DT score over 100pts for the season. ‘Danger’ has been a Dream Team revelation in 2012 and is $102,200 up in value.
Wright numbers
Matthew Wright enjoyed his best DT performance for the year against Fremantle, scoring 105 points after collecting 20 disposals, six tackles and three goals. The hard working small forward/midfielder is developing into a key member of the Crows side and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see his DT numbers rise up around the 100 point-mark more consistently.
No place like home
Captain Nathan van Berlo enjoyed the chance to play in his home state of WA, posting another solid DT performance at Patersons Stadium. ‘V.B’ had 24 disposals and a game-high seven tackles. His DT score of 103 points on the weekend was one better than his last match in Perth in 2011 (102pts).
Down of form
It's extremely rare for Scott Thompson not to feature among Adelaide’s top-five DT point scorers, but that was the case in round 10 with Thompson scoring just 65 points after copping a skin-tight tag from Fremantle’s Ryan Crowley. Rest assured though, Thompson isn’t labelled a ‘premium’ DT midfielder for no reason ... he will bounce back better and stronger!
