Crows forward Taylor Walker believes Adelaide’s young players have brightened an otherwise tough season for the Club.
In the five matches played in 2020, Adelaide has handed AFL debuts to four players and Club debuts to a further three.
“It’s probably the shining light of our footy Club at the moment, the young guys,” Walker told Triple M’s Dead Set Legends on Tuesday.
“Will Hamill looks awesome, you saw what Shane McAdam can do, Ben Crocker has been great, Benny Keays…
“There’s a few just off the top of my head.”
The Crows suffered their fifth defeat of the season on Sunday following poor ball use and goal-kicking accuracy.
“Our skill fundamentals are hurting us at the moment,” Walker said.
“The door will turn for us soon, we just have to keep bringing it back at training.
“It will start to show, it can turn quickly for us.
“We’ll get better.”
Adelaide’s players and staff returned from the Gold Coast on Sunday night following two weeks in a hub.
The Club will return to Queensland on Saturday to face West Coast at the Gabba.
