Adelaide has named captain Rory Sloane and young midfielder Chayce Jones in its squad to face Fremantle at Metricon Stadium on Sunday.
The pair will be put through their paces at Friday’s main training session on the Gold Coast with the Crows set to finalise their 22 soon after.
Sloane suffered an ankle injury in Round Four against Brisbane and Jones clashed knees with a teammate at training on Wednesday.

Both will be given as much time as possible to prove their fitness before the final side is confirmed on Friday at 4.30pm (ACST).
Defender Will Hamill (concussion) has also been listed on the eight-man interchange, however, Darcy Fogarty has been ruled out of Sunday’s clash due to a shoulder injury sustained in a training collision last Friday.
Midfielder Matt Crouch is one of four additions to the 26-man squad after a strong performance in last week’s reserves scratch match.
Defenders Kyle Hartigan and Andrew McPherson, along with forward Ben Davis, are the other inclusions to the squad.
Sunday’s game commences at 1.05pm AEST and will be shown live nationwide on Fox Footy.
The game will also be shown on-delay on Channel 7 in Adelaide from 3pm ACST.
