Adelaide midfielder Chayce Jones remains in the selection mix for Sunday’s clash with Fremantle despite a training collision on Wednesday morning.
Jones was assisted from the field by medical staff after a clash of knees while tackling another player to the ground.
Crows Head of Science and Medicine Steve Saunders said the 20-year-old would be monitored closely ahead of Adelaide naming an extended squad on Thursday evening.
“Chayce sustained a heavy contusion to the front of the right knee,” Saunders said.
“It appears to be a high-grade bone contusion, so we’ll monitor him closely over the next 24 hours and update tomorrow.”
