Adelaide is challenging its members to design the official guernsey for the Club’s new State League team.
The launch of Adelaide’s team in the SANFL next season offers the Club a chance to create a new guernsey specifically for this competition.
The best submissions will capture the spirit and passion of the Adelaide Football Club as it joins a strong community-based competition, from which it was created 23 years ago.
And who better to do that than our fans!
There is key criteria to consider in the guernsey design. The design must:
- have a base colour of either red, gold or white
- use our official colours (red, blue, gold) but not copy the hoop style of the AFL home guernsey
Other factors to consider are that the team will wear white shorts for all games and the Club’s preference is to need only one guernsey. However, the Club may wear an SANFL version of the current AFL ‘clash’ strip if required.
We are also interested in the thinking behind the designs. Tell us why you believe your guernsey design is suitable for our new State League team.
The competition is open to all Crows members with entries closing on Tuesday October 15 at 5pm.
The next step will depend on the quality of entries but we plan to show a selection to fans, who will then be asked to vote for their favorite.
