More than 600 guests ‘set sail’ on Saturday, July 13 for the Adelaide Football Club Gala Auction.

Guests were treated to a night of fine food and entertainment, in a cruise ship theme.

Crows staff took the theme to heart and dressed accordingly; with Club Chairman Rob Chapman assuming the role of ship captain and CEO Steven Trigg his first officer.

Commander Brenton Sanderson led the players to sea complete, and captain Nathan van Berlo kept a close eye on pirates Jason Porplyzia and Matthew Jaensch.

A highlight of the night was the hypnotist, who had the crowd mesmerised. He was joined on stage by 10 guests, including Jaensch and Adam McCallum from CMI Toyota, who became a crowd favourite after doing a cracking impersonation of Mick Jagger.

The event's major and silent auction items, which included a sought-after new Toyota RAV4, raised over $200,000 new Toyota RAV4.
