The Adelaide Football Club has entered into a new sponsorship deal with the Adelaide Casino, marking ten years of partnership between the two organisations.

Adelaide Crows Chairman Rob Chapman welcomed Adelaide Casino to the Club and said he looked forward to building on a successful partnership.

"This is an exciting corporate partnership for both the Adelaide Football Club and the Adelaide Casino and it’s particularly prominent given the Club's imminent shift to Adelaide Oval,” Mr Chapman said.

Further to the Adelaide Casino branding on players’ shorts, the sponsorship will also position Adelaide Casino as the home of the Crows’ away games - ensuring Crows fans never miss a game and offering them the chance to meet some of their on-field heroes.

Adelaide Casino General Manager David Christian says it’s an exciting time to strengthen the Casino’s longstanding support of the Adelaide Crows.

“The move of Adelaide Football Club and AFL games to Adelaide Oval next year, and the promise of a more integrated entertainment offering around Riverbank Precinct will inject a new sense of vibrancy into the city,” Mr Christian said.

“The redevelopment of the Oval and concurrent revitalisation of the Riverbank Precinct present a huge opportunity for the city and will position the state as a world-class destination.

“As we continue to work on our own plans for redevelopment, we are pleased to throw more support behind football in our state. Furthermore, we believe the partnership and cooperation between the various organisations around the Riverbank Precinct is crucial to the area’s ultimate success.”
Adelaide Casino’s sponsorship of the Crows is part of a wider sponsorship strategy that sees the Casino invest in a number of sponsorships, community donation programs and fundraising efforts.

“As one of South Australia’s largest employers and a major financial contributor to the state, we think it is important to show our support for the wider community.

“As part of the sponsorship we will have Ben Rutten as our player ambassador, and we are planning a series of events with a selection of players that fans can attend,” Mr Christian said.
