Matthew Jaensch was again Sturt’s stand-out in the last home-and-away round of SANFL.

Jaensch collected 30 possessions and kicked three goals to finish the season strongly.

Sturt, however, folded in the last quarter term at Unley Oval, leaking ten goals as Central District charged to a 25-point win after trailing by 22 points at the last change.

Crows rookie ruckman Jack Osborn is set to experience SANFL league finals after contributing to Central’s win.

Luke Thompson returned to the finals-bound Eagles after a long stint on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Central District, which regains Ian Callinan for the finals, will face North Adelaide in the elimination final this Sunday at AAMI Stadium. The Roosters will benefit from the return of forward Lewis Johnston.

This will be followed by the qualifying final between the Eagles and West Adelaide.

Minor premier Norwood sits out the first week of the finals.
