Adelaide has named an unchanged team to play an in-form Fremantle at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.
It’s the second time in three weeks the Crows have selected the same 22, rewarding the side that came from behind to beat North Melbourne by a point. Coach Brenton Sanderson said it was pleasing to be able to pick another unchanged line-up.
“Even though we played quite poorly against North, there were still some really good signs,” Sanderson said.
“It was actually our young players who stood up; Jarryd Lyons, Shaun McKernan, Josh Jenkins, Rory Laird and those types of players.
“They really gave us something and they’ll all get another opportunity this week.”

Last week’s travelling emergency Matthew Wright and versatile duo Ricky Henderson and Brodie Martin are the emergencies.
“We have a lot of guys in really good form in the SANFL, who are pressing for selection, including experienced players, like Wright, Ian Callinan, Matthew Jaensch, Graham Johncock and Ricky Henderson,” Sanderson said.
“Callinan has been in good form and isn’t an emergency this week, but we’re mindful of not keeping guys out of the SANFL (as non-playing emergencies) unless we have to. Wrighty is not only close to selection, but his club North Adelaide plays on Sunday, so all being well all three of our emergencies will get a game in the SANFL this week.”
The Crows are preparing for a tight contest against the defensively-minded Dockers, who currently sit in fourth place on the AFL ladder. Adelaide beat Freo three times last season, including an elimination Semi-Final win at AAMI Stadium. Relive the action of that game in Last Time We Met.
