Bernie Vince was the only Adelaide player to reach 100 Dream Team points against a defence-driven Bulldogs side.

Vince's standout performance eclipsed his season average of 84.9 points as he influenced the game around the ground as well as impacting the scoreboard.

Top five point scorers
Bernie Vince 104
Scott Thompson 90
Richard Douglas 88
Tom Lynch 83
Patrick Dangerfield and Brad Crouch 78

Vince
The 27-year-old demonstrated his class and value to Dream Team coaches at the weekend amassing 27 disposals. The smooth-moving midfielder accumulated 16 kicks, 11 handballs and snuck forward for a goal to collect 104 points. Coaches may look to Vince to provide a point of difference in their midfields heading into the preliminary finals and beyond.

Thompson
Scott Thompson turned back the clock with a vintage Dream Team performance scoring 90 points. The 4.99% of coaches who own Thompson were rewarded by the hard-working midfielder who had a team-high six tackles. Although Thompson's scoring output this season has been comparatively low to previous years, there's a high possibility he can string two high scoring games together when he takes on Melbourne's developing midfield this weekend.

Douglas
As Adelaide's best performing and most consistent Dream Team player this season, Douglas was again prolific scoring 88 points. With better efficiency in front of goals, Dougie would have cracked the ton as he so often has this year. A solid finish to the season will confirm his premium Dream Team status heading into next year.

Lynch

Lynch's team-high six marks and three goals were crucial on his way to collecting 83 points. The dynamic key forward averages 87 points a game which is an exceptional output for a mid-priced forward. Having never played against Melbourne in his career, this week presents an unknown for coaches looking to pick him up for this round.

Lewis Johnston
Having secured the mantle as the competition's most improved player for Round 21, Johnston presents a great potential downgrade target for coaches. His stocks have risen by a touch over $50,000 this week and the trend looks likely to continue if he can maintain his 73-point average.
