Adelaide is one of five teams battling to secure a finals spot with just two rounds remaining in the SANFL season.
The SANFL Crows saw off a late challenge from the Tigers at Glenelg on Saturday to keep their 2014 finals hopes alive. The victory moved Adelaide to seventh position on the SANFL table just two games behind the fifth-placed Eagles.
It was also the first time since April that both Adelaide’s AFL and SANFL sides have won on the same weekend.
The Crows now face two huge challenges to close out the Club’s maiden SANFL campaign. Clashes with top-three sides Sturt and Norwood will provide a great test for the young side, with Adelaide still to rely on other results to keep its finals dream alive.

Woodville-West Torrens missed an opportunity to consolidate its spot inside the top five last weekend, falling to South Adelaide by six points in a thriller at Woodville Oval. The Eagles have now lost their last three games and could yet surrender their hold on fifth position.
With their superior percentage, the Panthers are now all-but-assured of finals action for the first time since 2011. But mathematically, only Port Magpies, Norwood and Sturt are guaranteed to feature in the major round thus far.
Central District sits next in line in sixth position with eight wins. The Bulldogs will be favourites to knock over Glenelg and North Adelaide in their final two outings and are banging down the door of the top five.
The Roosters sit in a distant eighth spot and must win both of their remaining two matches to have any hope of a last-gasp finals appearance.
The SANFL also announced that its 2014 finals series would kick off under lights at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, August 30 with a back-to-back finals fixture.
Both the qualifying and elimination finals are set to be played on the same evening at SA’s new home of football, less than 24 hours before Adelaide’s AFL side confronts St Kilda at the venue the following afternoon.
