Douglas has been charged with rough conduct for a hip and shoulder on Ward in the second quarter of Adelaide's win over GWS.
The hearing is set for 5:00pm (Melbourne time) on Tuesday. Douglas and Club officials will travel to Melbourne to present his case.
The Club will be making no further comment on the matter at this stage.
Giants midfielderToby Greene has also been cited by the Match Review Panel for a clash in Sunday’sgame.
