South Australian cycling star Annette Edmonson, and V8 drivers Tim Slade and Nick Percat are among eight new Club Ambassadors in 2014.

Edmonson, 22, claimed two titles at the Australian Track Cycling Championships this year. The Olympic silver medallist won the women's 10-kilometre scratch race and also the women's 25-kilometre points race at the event held in Adelaide.

Percat, 24, won the Bathurst 1000 at his first attempt, co-driving for Garth Tander in 2011. Percat made his championship debut at the season opening Clipsal 500 in Adelaide earlier this year. Percat’s Walkinshaw Racing teammate Slade, who now resides on the Gold Coast, is also a Crows fan. He finished fifth in the International V8 Supercars Championship in 2012.

Christopher Pyne MP has joined as an Ambassador. An avid Crows fan, Christopher Pyne MP is the Federal Minister for Education and also Sturt.

Media personalities Mark Aiston, David Penberthy and Chris Kenny have also been welcomed into the Crows’ fold. Aiston and Penberthy can be heard on the FIVEaa Breakfast Show. Aiston is a veteran television and radio news presenter, while Penberthy has a background as a reporter and editor for News Limited.

Kenny, who is a lifelong Crows fan and attended Adelaide’s first game against Hawthorn in 1991, hosts ‘Viewpoint’ and ‘FridayLive’ on SkyNews. He’s also Associate Editor of National Affairs at The Australian, as well as columnist and blogger.

Entrepreneur Raymond Spencer rounds out the Club’s new ambassadors. Spencer has an extensive and impressive background in business and not-for-profit industries. He’s the Chairman of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and also the South Australian Economic Development Board.
