Adelaide remains hopeful skipper Taylor Walker and link-up forward Tom Lynch return for Thursday night's Grand Final rematch with Richmond at Adelaide Oval.
Walker missed the entire JLT Community Series with a foot injury while Lynch was ruled out of last Friday night's round one loss to Essendon with a side strain.
Crows midfielder David Mackay said the duo would have to go get through Tuesday's main training session.
"Those boys have got a bit of work to do to get right," Mackay told reporters.
"Having said that, they were reasonably close last week, so we're hoping with the week on the track they'll be able to get through to put their hand up.
"They were really close, so they're not far away from being available."
Experienced recruit Sam Gibson could also make his Crows debut after he was a late scratching last week due to hamstring soreness.
It ended the 31-year-old's run of 130 consecutive games from his time at North Melbourne.
The Crows could be without midfielder Curtly Hampton, who suffered a groin injury against the Bombers and is being assessed, while the club is challenging the one-game suspension handed down to Richard Douglas for his bump on Zach Merrett.
Despite being understrength, the Crows led the Bombers by 20 points at three-quarter time before being overrun in the last term.

Mackay dispelled any thought the Crows were underdone as a result of having a shorter pre-season due to playing in the Grand Final.
"Fitness isn't a concern," he said.
"We understand we've done plenty of work, ultimately, we just lost our way around the contest.
"When that happens, we lose field position.
"When we lose field position, the game becomes really difficult.
"It's a pretty simple recipe for us and unfortunately, in the last quarter we didn’t have all the ingredients there."
Mackay said there wouldn't be any extra motivation to beat the Tigers.
"It's worth four points," he said.
"The recent history is going to be there, but for us, it's a really important game.
"It's four points and we need to get our first win, so that's where our focus is at."
