Adelaide forwards Tom Lynch and Taylor Walker were not going to let Rory Sloane miss the chance to be chaired off in game 200.

Despite no crowd in attendance and Sloane himself requesting otherwise, Lynch and Walker shouldered the Crows captain down to the race. 

Sloane told Triple M’s The Rush Hour with JB and Billy he even managed a wave to the ‘crowd’.

“I said to Tex and Lynchy, they went to put me up on their shoulders and I said ‘don’t you dare put me on your shoulders’,” Sloane said.

“They just said ‘we’re putting you up here’.

“I managed to spot my mum, dad, wife and little fella… I spotted those four and gave them a quick wave.

“Then I pretended I gave everyone else a wave, too.

The Crows No.9 was also full of praise for the Sydney Swans, who joined in the guard of honour.

“The Sydney boys came over as well, I respect so many of them and the whole Swans footy club,” Sloane said.

“It was a nice moment, just a different feeling. 

“I got there, and no matter what happens now, I can say I made it to 200.”

The Adelaide players are now working out from home with gym equipment from the Club.

Sloane said few players were more stocked than Walker.
