Former Adelaide captain Mark Ricciuto has dished Taylor Walker a cheeky backhand.
On Triple M’s Roo & Ditts, Walker detailed the training regimen players were undertaking to stay fit - including partnering up with teammates.
“Everyone would want to train with Tex,” Ricciuto joked, regarding the players’ running times.
It was a small bit of revenge for Ricciuto who copped a shot from Walker in October regarding his hairline.
In all seriousness, Walker said he and his teammates were focused on an at-home workout regiment.
“We’re still allowed to go for a run in the morning, then come home and most of the boys have got a gym set,” Walker said.
“We bounce around a bit (with running partners)... I’ve run with Jake Kelly, Lairdy, Tals.”

Walker has been doing his best to remain occupied during the suspended period of the season but admitted cabin fever could set in.
“I’ve mowed the lawns three times, cleaned the house four times,” Walker said.
“(Hugo) is waking himself up around 5.30 and has a chat to himself until about 6.30. He’s going well.”
“I just hope for ourselves and the fans that we can start playing games in the not too distant future.
“I’m going a bit stir crazy at the moment.”
