Adelaide is set to unveil a number of fresh faces in Saturday’s Marsh Community Series game against Melbourne at Casey Fields.
Defender Jordon Butts and forward Shane McAdam will get their first opportunities in the senior side after impressing over the pre-season.
In last weekend’s match simulation, Butts played on Taylor Walker and “did a fantastic job” according to coach Matthew Nicks, while McAdam impacted the scoreboard, kicking three goals.
Former Port Adelaide ruck-forward Billy Frampton, as well as rookies Ben Crocker and Ben Keays will also run out in Crows colours for the first time.
Speaking to the media at West Lakes on Thursday, Keays said he was excited to get an early run under his belt.
"It feels pretty weird at the moment, it hasn't sunk in yet, but it'll be good to pull on the jersey and it's just a new beginning that I've been hanging out for," Keays said.
"It's good to get the reward playing Marsh one."
Adelaide will announce its full Marsh Community Series squad to face Melbourne on Thursday at 5.50pm ACDT.
