Adelaide wingman Paul Seedsman spent last Friday reminding Brad Crouch who topped the Crows on the golf course.

Seedsman and Crouch regularly hit the links alongside teammates Taylor Walker and Matt Crouch with the competition often heating up.

Although Brad has made a run at the crown, Seedsman said he managed to regain the title last week.

“Brad had me for one round… then we went out and I put him to the sword,” Seedsman told AFC Media.

“He’d been lipping me off then I beat him by eight shots on Friday.

“I went back in at number one.”

Switching to football, Seedsman said his biggest focus in 2020 would be to play every match, having yet to achieve the feat across his eight seasons at the elite level.

“Pre-season is going really well,” he said.

“Last couple of years I’ve been able to get decent pre-season in… this one in terms of volume and number of training sessions is by far the best I’ve had.

“Touch wood we haven’t missed a beat over Christmas since coming back.

“We’ll look to continue that and aim to hit the ground running (this season).”

Seedsman endured a mixed 2019 season, stagnated by injury and form.

But a strong finish to the season (average of 27 disposals and four tackles in the final two games) has the 27-year-old optimistic about 2020.

“One thing I took out as a positive, I didn’t get a soft tissue injury for the first time in a number of years,” he said.

“I was able to come in later in the year and find good form, taking the confidence out of that despite an ordinary year.”
