It’s Opening Round week ... and the Club’s official website is ready for a huge season.
Our focus is providing more news, exclusive videos and behind-the-scenes content on afc.com.au for Crows fans across Australia and the world as we also prepare for the launch of a new fan-focused website.
The appointment of former afl.com.au reporter Katrina Gill as the club’s Content Producer - combined with the resources of AFL Media - will offer our supporters the best online coverage of the team.
Here’s a snapshot of what’s ahead this week on afc.com.au ...
- Read and hear the latest news direct from the Club, every day. Find out who is fit and ready to face Gold Coast on Saturday, how Crows listed players have performed in the SANFL and hear from the players and coaches through the daily countdown to the opening round.
- Wednesday: New Crows coach Brenton Sanderson talks to the media.
- Thursday: It’s selection day! See the full Crows team first on afc.com.au at 5.50pm (SA time).
- Friday: Read the latest news from on the road with the Crows as the squad travels to Queensland.
- The weekend: The best online coverage before the game, during the match and after the siren. The free match centre will keep fans informed about the game and post-game coverage will also be taken to a new level with match reports, comprehensive stats including Dream Team points, player interviews, the coach’s press conference, exclusive pics and video highlights.
The website is the hub of the Crows’ online world but there are plenty of other ways to follow your team in 2012.
Adelaide has an official Facebook fans page, Twitter accounts (official Crows, Crows membership and Crowmania), YouTube channel and last week launched a new free Crows app.
