The Crows have made one change to their team for Sunday’s must-win clash with Collingwood.
After displaying some strong SANFLW form, midfielder Georgia Bevan has come into the side at the expense of Sophie Armitstead (omitted). Armitstead and vice-captain Sally Riley are the emergencies.
Four teams remain in contention for next weekend’s AFLW Grand Final: Western Bulldogs, Melbourne, Adelaide and the Brisbane Lions.
The winner of Saturday night’s game between the Bulldogs and Demons will be assured a spot in the decider.
Barring a draw at Whitten Oval, a win against the in-form Magpies would secure Adelaide a second-consecutive Grand Final berth.
If the Dogs and Dees draw, the Crows would need to beat Collingwood and also make up percentage on one of the current top-two ranked teams.
The Lions kept their premiership hopes alive and ended Greater Western Sydney’s season with a 40-point victory at Blacktown on Friday night.
Last year’s runners-up can return to the Grand Final stage if Melbourne and Adelaide both lose.
The AFLW ladder following Friday night's game between the Lions and Giants
Sunday’s game at Olympic Park starts at 2:35pm (AEDT). It will be broadcast live into Adelaide on 7Mate and nationwide on Fox Footy and the AFLW and AFL Live Apps.
The Magpies can’t make the decider, but have won two of their last three games including an upset win over the Lions last weekend.
The Crows find themselves in a similar scenario to last year when they had to defeat Collingwood at the same venue to secure a place in the Grand Final.
On that day, Adelaide came from 24 points down to record a thrilling win and went on to claim the inaugural AFLW premiership the following week. Recap the action in the video player above
